About Our Workshops

WHAT IS A WORKSHOP?

• A class taught by an instructor who is known for their excellence in teaching.
• An opportunity to concentrate on a particular subject.
• An in-depth educational experience.
• An uninterrupted day to sew and share the experience with other sewers.

Note: All kit fees are payable to the instructor at the class; we suggest you bring your Basic Sewing Supplies to all workshops; any other specific supplies will be noted on your ticket invoice.

ABOUT THE PRE-SHOW WORKSHOPS

The American Sewing Expo will once again present all-day workshops, before the Expo begins, on Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 9AM - 5PM.

• Lunch will be available for purchase.
• Complimentary morning coffee and an afternoon snack will be available.
• Class sizes are limited, so be sure to sign up for your class the day registration begins!
• All workshops are $95.

SEWING EDUCATORS ALLIANCE CERTIFICATION CLASSES

The Sewing Educators Alliance (SEA) was created for the sewing educator as a mentoring and support group, encouraging the sharing and teaching of sewing. A certification program was developed for those who currently teach or would like to teach any type of sewing or quilting.
