Classes
We are your premier show for sewing education, offering over 100 classes a day from the most popular educators in the business! Whether you are looking for a 1 hour lecture or an all day hands on class, tips for mitering corners or information on fashion design, we guarantee to have something to fit your interests.

- Pre-Show Workshops
All day, hands-on classes held the Thursday before the show 'officially' opens. Please see our workshops page for more information.

Free Demonstration Stages
Our vendor floor holds THREE demonstration stages. Each stage has at least 7 topics a day for your learning pleasure - everything from 'Discharged Fabric Design' with Dana Bontrager to 'Comfortable Clothes that Camouflage' with Kathy Ruddy.

Fashion Shows
Our fashion stage, located in Hall B, is home to many fashion shows daily. Come see on of the FREE fashion shows offered or buy a ticket to one of our special events.

Sew Experience Cafe
We are very excited to be introducing our Sew Experience Cafe this year! The cafe is located in the back of the vendor hall and is packed with fun and exciting sewing and embellishing projects. Enjoy a cup of coffee while you view informative video clips on unique sewing tips. Next, you will choose your favorite project offered and dive in at your own pace and make your own little treasure to take home. Keep it for yourself or give it as a gift. You'll have fun while learning new techniques.
The first 25 people to enter the cafe each day will receive a free copy of the NEW book Subversive Seamster.

LIVE Competitions
This year we are introducing a new feature to the show - the Baby Lock Passion for Fashion sewing challenge. We have selected 12 finalists, out of the many entries, to compete in the live sewing contest. Contestants will get their sewing challenge on Friday morning, design and sew all day (while you walk by and watch), and present their creations in a live professional fashion show on Saturday at 12:15.
This year's special judge is designer and 2006 Project Runway winner Chloe Dao!

Make and Takes
Each year we have a large number of make and take projects in our vendor hall for you to participate in. Participating vendors offer quick projects for free or low cost. A full list of participating vendors with their booth numbers will be listed in Swatches, our show program, at the show.

Contests
Each year we have a multitude of contests for you enter and/or enjoy. Our anual contests include Art of the Quilt, Innovation Generation, Inspired by Threads, and the Dream Sewing Room Drawing. This year we are also hosting Not Your Mother's Apron and Passion for Fashion. Please view our contest page for more information each of these contests.
